Update 6.0
Over the last few weeks the admin and tech teams have been slowly developing a bot that tracks the teams raid train data and currently it kicks out a lot of information to show weaknesses in our setup, places where we need to improve and build and various other bits of information.
Internally a time based tier system has been rolled out, this allows us to see who is active and who is not so we can try and encourage the less active people to take part in the trains, the time based system is pretty easy to follow:
Tier 1 – Played on a train in the last 12 weeks
Tier 2 – Last played between 3 and 6 months ago
Tier 3 – Last played more than 6 months ago
The bot also allows us to see how many trains people have taken part in, dropped and covered and has several other data points like debut date. This allows us to see how many sets a person has done in certain time period, which is useful if someone does a lot of cover slots but isn’t in the initial line-up for the train.
We have also broken the world down into 3 major timezones:
AMER – Americas
EMEA – European
APAC – Asia/Pacific
This point allows us to see the area and timezones where we are weakest and how many people we have in them timezones, allowing us to try and find people from those areas to join the team.
The bot also posts in the Live now channel on the discord when the train is running, there is no ceiling for the bot so there’s no need to add or remove anyone from the backend.
New features are currently being developed for the bot.
